Kohera Academy
Summer School

We will give you the opportunity to start with a tailor-made program to prepare you for the adventure as a consultant. You will also receive a contract from us with all the benefits.    
The KASS program consists of training and education within the different focus domains of Kohera. In addition to technical training, the KASS program also pays attention to soft skills, such as training on project approach and presentation training.
The technical courses are given based on practical experience and contain many exercises and examples. In addition to the courses themselves, we also provide study time so that you can also obtain your certificates, which give you a good basis to get started.
During the KASS trajectory you will not only study and follow courses. Together with your colleagues you go to customers, and you are involved in various projects.   Your team lead will follow up on you and together with our operations wizard, everything will be guided in the right direction for you so that you are quickly ready to get started as a data wizard!

As soon as your contract is signed, we arrange everything (car, fuel card, laptop, wages, …) and you will be picked up on the first day by a colleague who will take you “to work”.

COURSES

The courses take place in all Cronos buildings throughout Flanders and will always be in your agenda so that you know where your training is taking place.
Kohera has its headquarters in Kontich and there you can study, work together with your other colleagues at times when there is no training.

AFTER KASS

Jan Van De Straeten

Na mijn stage bij Kohera kreeg ik in september 2021 de kans om het KASS-programma te volgen. Samen met 2 andere starters ben ik aan deze opleiding begonnen om onze technische kennis en consulting skills zo goed mogelijk op punt te stellen, zodat we klaar waren voor onze toekomstige klanten. We kregen veel verschillende sessies over meerdere onderwerpen: Datawarehousing, Power BI, Azure, DBA essentials, SSIS, … en naast de technische trainingen was er ook aandacht voor de soft skills, om zorgvuldig om te gaan met verschillende situaties. Er waren bovendien ook dagen ingepland waarbij we zelfstandig konden leren om Microsoft certificaten te behalen zoals de ‘DP-900: Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals’. Naast het verruimen van mijn kennis, heeft het KASS-programma mij vooral ook geleerd om zelfstandig te kunnen werken als consultant. Erbovenop, door het leren van mijn (eerste) nieuwe collega’s, hoe Kohera in elkaar zit en tewerk gaat, heb ik de KASS enorm positief ervaren!
